The audio of 'Desamuduru' directed by sensational director Puri Jagannath and produced by Bhagawan and Danayya on the banner of Universal Media with Stylish Star Allu Arjun and debutant heroine Hansika Muthwal in the lead, was launched at Rock Gardens in Madhapur of Hyderabad on December 25.
Chakri provided tunes for this film and the audio was launched amidst several prominent film personalities. Akkineni Nagarjuna, MAA president K Nagendrababu, directors K Raghavendra Rao, SS Rajamouli, VV Vinayak and Raviteja attended the programme as chief guests.
Nagarjuna launched the audio and handed over the first audiocassette to K Raghavendra Rao and the second one to K Nagendrababu.
Later the audio CDs were launched and were distributed among the guests by Nagarjuna. Before the launch of the audio, the songs in the film were screened to the distinguished guests.
KC Sekhar Babu, Arjuna Raju, Allu Aravind and others also attended the programme.

Canning of a song is in progress for 'Desamuduru' directed by versatile director Puri Jagannath and produced by Bhagawan and Danayya on the banner of Universal Media with Allu Arjun and Hansika Muthwal in the lead.
The film unit is now in Vizag to choreograph a song in and around Vizag since December 18.
Chakri provided tunes for this flick and the audio is likely to be released on December 24.
This is the only film which is a youthful entertainer to be released during the Sankranthi season. The producers are making efforts to release the film on January 12.

The audio of Desamuduru directed by versatile director Puri Jagannath and produced by Bhagawan and Danayya on the banner of Universal Media with Allu Arjun and Hansika Mutwal in the lead would be released on December 24.
This youthful entertainer has music from Chakri and according to reliable sources, the audio release function would be held at Jayabheri Club.
Popular heroine Rambha shook her legs with Allu Arjun in an item song. Allu Arjun is playing the role of a reporter in MAA TV, while Hansika is playing a sanyasin.
If everything goes well, the film is all set for release on January 12.

Efforts are on to remake the super-hit Bollywood film 'Lage Raho Munnabhai', which came as a sequel to 'Munnabhai MBBS' in Telugu, with Chiranjeevi and Vidyabalan in the lead. Gemeni Kiran is producing the remake on the banner of Gemini Film Circuits and 'Shankar Dada Zindabad' is the title under consideration for this flick. Prabhudeva, who gave a hit film like 'Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana' is likely to wield megaphone, while Young Tarang Devisri Prasad is giving tunes for this remake. The film is most likely to go to sets in January. The producer is planning to complete the shooting and other formalities as early as possible and release the film in August.

The film which is being made with Nepal as its backdrop has Allu Arjun in the role of a TV channel reporter, while the heroine is a Sanyasin. How the hero won the love of the heroine and what made the heroine to fall in love with the hero were moulded on the screen as a youthful entertainer.

'Annavaram' is ready for censor certification
The successful Tamil film 'Tirupachi' is being remade in Telugu as 'Annavaram' under the direction of Bhimaneni Srinivasa Rao, presented by RB Choudary and jointly produced by NV Prasad and Paras Jain on the banner of 'Megaa Super Good Films' which had produced several successful family subjects, with Pawan Kalyan, Asin and Sandhya in the lead.
It is learnt that the film excellently brought out and is reflecting the strong relationship between a brother and a sister. The last song for the film was canned on Pawan Kalyan and Asin recently.
The film had completed shooting and other post-production formalities and is getting ready for censor certification. The producers planned to release the film on December 29.
Ramana Gogula gave melodious tunes for the flick and they have already become popular with the launch of audio recently.

After giving big hits like Mass and Sri Ramadasu, ‘Yuva Samrat’ Nagarjuna is pairing up with Trisha for his next flick.
To be directed by Raghava Lawrence, who turned a director from choreographer with Nagarjuna's Mass, the film would be produced by ML Kumar Choudary, who gave a big hit like 'Vikramarkudu', under the banner Keerthi Creations. It is reliably learnt that the film would go to sets on December 14.
'Don' is the title under consideration for the film and it was first planned to be launched on December 23. But now it has been pre-poned to December 14.
Another interesting feature in this film is that Raghava Lawrence, who is a choreographer, director and also an artiste, is now wielding the baton to score music for this film. The producer is planning to release the film as a summer gift.

Trisha optimistic about Sainikudu
Trisha is optimistic that Sainikudu would collect huge revenue and emerge a blockbuster.
Sainikudu, starring Mahesh Babu and directed by Guna Sekhar, was made on Rs 30-crore budget.
Amidst great expectations the movie got released last week.
Trisha, currently shooting for director Selvaraghavan's Telugu movie in Rajahmundry, says, “I gave my best in the movie. Personally, I feel it is one of the best films that I have acted in. The opening has been fabulous and I am confident that it would sustain the collection.”
Trisha, who is cast opposite Ajith in Kireedom, will join the sets on 11 December.
“With good movies in both Tamil and Telugu, I am confident that 2007 would take me a step higher in my career,” she adds.

The Mahesh Babu, Shreya starrer, 'Arjun' directed by Guna Sekhar and produced by G Ramesh Babu under the banner Krishna Productions, is being dubbed into Tamil.
Noted Tamil producer PN Tilak is dubbing it in Tamil under the banner Peela Productions in the name 'Varenda Maduraikku'. It may be recalled here that the film had a magnificent Madurai Meenakshi temple set designed by art director Thotta Tharani, at a cost of Rs 4 crores.
As Tamilians are devotees of deity Madurai Meenakshi, this temple set would go down well with the audiences here.
Mani Sharma's music would also prove to be a big hit as he is also popular among the Tamil audiences.

Some of the action episodes for the film are being shot at Aluminium factory in Hyderabad for the past three days. The film has a different and unusual love subject. The hero is a crime reporter in a private television channel and the heroine is a girl who turns a sanyasin. The hero falls in love with the heroine and the problems he faces to win her love is the story.
The film has music from Chakri and the audio would be released on December 10th or 12th. The film is likely to be released on January 12 as a Sankranti Gift.

Some important scenes are being shot at Araku for 'Aata' directed by VN Aditya and produced by MS Raju for Sumanth Arts with Siddhartha and Ileana in the lead. The film's tagline is 'Puli Meeda Swari'.
The next schedule of this film has been planned in the US. Paruchuri Brothers are writing the dialogues for this film, while Devisri Prasad is giving music. The producer is planning to complete all the formalities by March and release the film in April.

Vishal, who had hattrick successes to his credits like 'Prema Chadarangam, Pandemkodi and Pogaru' is ready to act in a straight Telugu film. Vikram Krishna, son of GK Reddy, of GK Film Corporation, which dubbed the three films into Telugu is now planning to produce a film in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously.
Rajasekhar, who worked as an assistant with noted director Suresh Krishna would be introduced as director through this film and the producer is planning to launch the film in the third week of January. It is reliably learnt that 'Desanikokkadu' is the title under consideration for the Telugu version.

It is well aware that director Rajamouli is all set to make a socio-fantasy film with NTR in the lead on his own banner called 'Viswamitra Creations'. Already NTR-Rajamouli combo was proved a hit pair with two big hits like 'Student No. 1 and Simhadri' to their credit. The latest flick, 'Yama Donga' is most likely to go to sets on December 18 amidst several top film personalities.
According to industry sources, there will be five heroines in the film and already Kajal of 'Lakshmi Kalyanam'-fame was selected. Now, a Malayalam girl, Mamata Mohandas of 'Pokiri Pilla'-fame, is making her debut through this film, playing opposite NTR.
Another speciality of the film is that the 'Dialogue King' Dr Mohanbabu is playing the role of Yama Dharma Raju, the first-ever combination with NTR. MM Keeravani is giving tunes for the film, while Vijayendra Prasad provided the story. The director-cum-producer Rajamouli was of the opinion to complete all the shooting and post-production formalities by June 2007 and release the film on July 9, the day Simhadri released some time ago.

Asin was rushed to a private hospital in Chennai on Wednesday after she sustained injuries in her toe while shooting for Pokiri.
The actor was shaking her legs with Vijay for a song sequence that was shot by Prabhu Deva at AVM Studios.
Suddenly a huge nail, which was dismantled and left in the shooting spot, pierced her toe. A bleeding Asin raised alarm. The actor was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital and was advised a couple of days rest.
According to her father Joseph, Asin would be normal in a day or two and she would commence dubbing works for Pokiri. However, she can return to the dance floor only after a week.
Asin, who is flooded with round the clock assignments, will certainly do well to enjoy this enforced rest.

Hari to direct Suriya in Vil
Director Hari is fully immersed in his work. He is shooting Vishal for Thamiraparani.
With a major part of the movie completed, Hari has started the post-production works of Thamiraparani.
Close on the heels of this film, Hari would direct Suriya. The movie has been tentatively titled Vil.
Says Hari, “After Thamiraparani, I would be doing a movie with Suriya. The story and the script are ready. On completing Vil, I would venture to direct Bharath.”
Hari's Aaru featuring Suriya had a good run in Tollywood. It has emboldened Suriya to join hands with Hari again.
Hari is a master of masalas. His Samy and Tamizh are good examples of that.
